Why Is Binance Removing 8 Services and 22 Tokens in Brazil?
crypto.newsOlivia Stephanie
Binance has announced plans to restrict eight cryptocurrency services and remove 22 tokens from trading in Brazil starting October 27, 2026, as the exchange prepares to move local customers under new central bank regulations. Binance announced the changes on October 8, confirming that Brazilian users will lose access to selected lending, mining, margin trading and token reward services. The company has set a separate October 29 deadline to transfer eligible customers to its Brazilian operating entities, which will handle local transactions and regulatory reporting. The restrictions cover products currently available through the exchange’s international operations. Customers holding affected assets will retain access to their balances, although Binance will prevent them from opening new positions in restricted products.
